Slots at Garage: A Short Orientation
This site is mostly about live tables and sports betting, but the game list Garage shows also contains several slots and an instant game. Slots work very differently from a roulette wheel or a betting market, and the useful comparison is the same in every case: how much of each stake the game keeps in the long run, and how wildly results swing in the short run. This page gives that orientation and links to a page for each title.
Go to the offerTwo numbers that matter: RTP and volatility
RTP (return to player) is the share of all stakes a game pays back over a very long run. An RTP of 96% means a long-run house edge of 4%. Volatility describes how that return is distributed: a low-volatility slot pays small wins often, a high-volatility slot pays rarely but sometimes very large amounts. Two slots with the same RTP can feel completely different, and high volatility needs a larger budget per session to survive the dry spells.
RTP figures need care. Many providers release a slot in several RTP configurations, and the operator decides which one runs. That is why some of the pages below say “RTP not recorded”: instead of printing a number that may not be the one you play, we point you to the game’s info panel, where the active value is shown.

Slots next to table games
For a player who mainly sits at roulette or blackjack tables, the comparison is instructive. A single-zero roulette wheel keeps 2.70% of every stake; Piggy Brick Bonanza at 94.03% RTP keeps 5.97%, more than twice as much, and a slot also completes many more rounds per hour than a live table. As a hypothetical example: €1 spins at one spin every four seconds put €900 through the machine in an hour, so even a modest edge adds up quickly. That is not a reason to avoid slots, but it is a reason to set a smaller budget per hour for them than for a table.
Features such as free spins, jackpots or Hold & Win rounds do not raise the RTP; they are part of it. A bonus round that pays a lot when it hits is paid for by base-game spins that pay less. Buying features directly, where a game offers it, changes the pace but not the long-run maths stated by the provider.
Before you spin: a short checklist
- Open the info panel and note the RTP that is actually active.
- Read the paytable: which symbols pay, how the features trigger, what the maximum win is.
- Match volatility to your budget — high volatility needs more spins of patience.
- If you play with a bonus, check the maximum stake per spin and the game weighting in the wagering terms.
- Set a time and loss limit before the first spin; the responsible gambling page explains the tools.
