Payments at Garage: what to look for in the cashier

Before the first spin at a live roulette table or the first bet slip, there is the cashier. This guide sorts the international payment methods you are most likely to see there — cards, bank transfer, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, mobile wallets and crypto — and explains how each one deposits, how each one withdraws and where the usual problems sit. It does not claim that Garage offers every method listed: the cashier in your own account is the only reliable source.

One account, one name

Two rules explain most of what happens in a casino cashier. The first is “back to source”: money tends to return the way it came in. A card deposit is refunded to the card where that is technically possible, and anything above it is paid by bank transfer. Methods that cannot receive money — a voucher code, for example — need a second route for withdrawals, usually a bank account. The second rule is ownership: the card, the wallet and the bank account must belong to the same person as the casino account. A partner’s card or a shared family account almost always leads to questions at the first withdrawal.

How payments work at Garage

Every payment runs through the cashier inside your account. Deposits are credited once the method confirms them — instantly for most cards and wallets, after arrival for bank transfers, after network confirmations for crypto. Withdrawals go the other way: you file a request, the operator reviews it, and the money is released to the chosen method. The review step is where identity checks, bonus status and payment-method ownership come in. Processing times and limits are set by Garage and by each method, and they are shown in the cashier.

Minimum deposit: what it means in practice

A minimum deposit is set per method by the operator and can change. It matters less than your stake size. A worked example: with a €100 deposit and a €1 unit per roulette spin or single bet, you have a hundred units; at €5 per hand at a blackjack table, you have twenty. Decide the unit first, then the deposit — not the other way round.

Playing in your account currency

Your account currency is chosen at registration and usually cannot be changed later. If your card or bank account runs in another currency, your bank converts each payment and may add a margin on the exchange rate. Pick the currency you actually earn and spend in, and you avoid paying for conversion twice — once on the deposit and once on the withdrawal.

Account verification before the first withdrawal

Before the first payout, operators normally verify identity. Typical requests are a photo ID, sometimes proof of address, and proof that the payment method is yours — a bank statement showing your name, a card photo with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of the e-wallet profile. What Garage asks for exactly is set in the operator’s terms. Uploading documents right after registration saves waiting later.

Payout speed, fees and limits

Payout speed has two parts: the operator’s review and the method’s own transfer time. E-wallets and crypto tend to be quicker once released; bank transfers and card refunds take longer on the banking side. Fees and per-method limits are set by the operator and by your bank or wallet provider. None of these figures are quoted here because they can change; the cashier shows the current values before you confirm.

Pending withdrawal and proof of payment: what the statuses mean

A pending request has been received but not yet reviewed; in review means the operator is checking identity, bonus or payment method; approved means the money has been released; rejected means it was not sent and the reason should be shown. If proof of payment is requested, send exactly what is asked — a clear statement or screenshot, not a cropped photo. Some cashiers let you cancel a pending request and return the money to your balance; if you meant to cash out, leave it alone. The full process is on the withdrawal page.

Payments and your bankroll

At live tables and on the bet slip, the payment method matters less than how much you load and how often. Set a monthly budget, keep casino and betting money separate, and avoid a second deposit in the same session. Most accounts offer deposit limits per day, week or month — set them before you play. More tools are on the responsible gambling page.

Frequently asked questions

Which payment methods does Garage accept?
Only the cashier in your own account shows that, and the list can differ by country and account. Common international options are cards, bank transfer, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, mobile wallets and crypto. Which methods and limits you get depends on your account — check the cashier.
Can I withdraw with the same method I deposited with?
Often, but not always. Cards and e-wallets frequently work both ways; prepaid vouchers never do, and some mobile wallets are deposit-only. When a method cannot receive money, the payout usually goes by bank transfer to an account in your name.
Why does my name have to match everywhere?
Operators match the payment method to the account holder to prevent fraud and money laundering. A card or bank account in someone else’s name is the most common reason a withdrawal is held.
Are there fees?
Fees can come from the operator, from your bank or card issuer, or from the network in the case of crypto. The cashier should show any operator surcharge before you confirm; bank charges are in your own account terms.
Is it legal to pay an online casino from my country?
That depends entirely on where you live. Some countries license online casinos, some run state monopolies and some restrict payments. Check your local law; a licence from one country does not make play legal everywhere.
